Southern Talent Specialists, Inc. is seeking a motivated, tech-savvy Junior Salesforce Developer to join their growing team. In this role, you will help design, build, and maintain custom applications on the Salesforce platform.

Responsibilities

Custom Development: Write and maintain clean, testable code using Apex (classes and triggers) and Lightning Web Components (LWC) to extend platform functionality
Declarative Automation: Utilize low-code tools like Salesforce Flow and Validation Rules to solve business problems efficiently
Integration Support: Assist in connecting Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs
Testing & Debugging: Perform unit testing and debug code to ensure high-quality, reliable deployments
Collaboration: Partner with Salesforce Administrators and senior developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for system changes and custom logic

Required

Must hold a valid Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (PDI) credential
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
Foundational understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), SOQL/SOSL, and web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Familiarity with the Salesforce data model, security settings (Profiles, Permission Sets), and standard objects

Preferred

Active participation in the Salesforce Trailblazer Community or local user groups
Experience with version control systems like Git
Hands-on experience through internships or significant Trailhead project completions
