Responsibilities
Oversee and manage end-to-end payroll processing for a multi-state healthcare workforce
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws and healthcare-specific payroll regulations
Supervise, mentor, and develop payroll staff
Manage payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting
Partner with HR regarding employee changes, benefits deductions, and leave administration
Maintain and improve payroll systems, controls, and procedures
Assist with year-end processing including W-2s and related reporting
Support leadership with payroll analytics and reporting
Qualification
Required
5+ years of payroll experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and compliance
Experience with payroll systems and HRIS platforms
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Preferred
Healthcare industry payroll experience strongly preferred
