They are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to oversee the end-to-end Accounts Payable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices across multiple facilities while maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal departments.

Responsibilities
Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and process invoices from vendors and suppliers, ensuring they are accurate and compliant with company
Payment Processing: Manage payment runs, ensuring that all payments are made accurately to scheduled vendors
Vendor Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors, resolve issues such as disputes, missing payments, or discrepancies in the invoices
Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable transactions, including reviewing statements and resolving any discrepancies between the company's records and the vendor statements
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized AP records for auditing and financial reporting purposes
Month End Closing: Assist in the preparation of reports related to accounts payable, accruals, and other financial transactions to support month end and year end closing processes
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the AP processes, increasing efficiency and reducing errors
Compliance: Ensure that all AP transactions comply with company policies, internal controls, and accounting standards
Qualification
Required
3+ years of AP or general accounting experience
Intermediate or better use of Microsoft Office. Excel, Outlook and Word
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Professional, pleasant and calm demeanor required for dealing with vendors
Good interpersonal skills and ability to build partnerships and work with all levels of the accounting team in a positive manner
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Self-motivated, task-oriented and able to direct daily activities
Preferred
Experience working with Sage Intacct and Oncare a plus
