Responsibilities
Coordinate audit engagements of Talos operated propertied with Joint Venture Partners
Assist in audit engagements of non-operated properties with Joint Venture Partners
Assist in resolution of open audit exceptions for operated and non-operated properties
Assist in developing annual audit program
Prepare various journal vouchers associated with audit revisions
Establish and maintain effective work relationships with Drilling, Facilities, Operations and Accounting personnel
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum of 5 years' accounting experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, preferably related to joint interest billings or joint venture audits
Possess strong analytical skills
Able to perform detailed work with speed and accuracy
Able to organize and prioritize a diverse and significant workload consisting of many detailed, separate procedures and deadlines
Creates strong work relationships
Communicates effectively, both orally in person and using a telephone and in writing
Recognizes personal strengths and weaknesses and be proactive in self-development
Has a strong sense of integrity and the ability to deal with ethical situations effectively
Willing to work a demanding and flexible schedule
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Preferred
Experience in BOLO, Excalibur or SAP accounting systems
