Responsibilities
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations; Identify and resolve discrepancies
Assist with general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, as needed
Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
Assist with cash management and transaction coding
Reconcile credit card and other subsidiary accounts
Prepare reports and schedules for management and auditors
Support audits by gathering documentation and responding to requests
Assist with ad hoc accounting and administrative projects
Qualification
Required
1-3 years of accounting or accounting assistant experience
Hands-on experience with bank reconciliations
General knowledge of accounting principles and processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Effective written and verbal communication
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High level of confidentiality and professionalism
Preferred
Experience with ERP or accounting systems
Experience in a multi-entity or high-transaction environment
Healthcare, professional services, or corporate accounting background a plus
