Service Management Platform Engineer
Shield Consulting Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Service Management Platform Engineer responsible for consolidating multiple Jira Service Desk instances to enhance service management capabilities. Responsibilities
The System Engineer shall be responsible for consolidating multiple Jira Service Desk instances and creating a unified, user friendly customer service desk to enhance the HPC organization’s service management capabilities and user experience
Qualification
Required
Active TS/SCI w/Polygraph REQUIRED
20 years experience as a system engineer
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
5 additional years of experience as a system engineer may be substituted for a degree
Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
Extensive experience with Jira Service Desk configuration, administration, and customization
Proficient in UI/UX design and development using relevant tools and frameworks
Experience with API integration and scripting (Bash, Python)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
Experience using the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
Preferred
Familiar with Agile software development methodologies and project management tools
Experience with Git Source Control System
