Business Development Representative

The Business Development Representative will be responsible for creating outbound sales opportunities by researching target accounts and initiating conversations with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain targeted outbound prospect lists across enterprise and government with at least 80 active accounts at any given time
Research accounts and stakeholders to enable personalized outreach with at least 4 stakeholders per account
Execute consistent daily outbound activity across channels with at least 40 outbound touches per day
Write, test, and iterate outbound messaging with messaging refreshed at least bi-weekly based on learnings
Initiate cold conversations with senior stakeholders having purchasing authority with at least 12 real conversations per week
Qualify early interest and convert conversations into defined sales opportunities with at least 2 qualified opportunities per week
Schedule and coordinate introductory calls with Birdstop leadership with at least 2 successful 30 minute meetings per week
Maintain accurate activity and opportunity tracking in CRM with 100% of activity logged within 24 hours
Identify and document common objections, use cases, and buying signals with a weekly written summary
Share weekly learnings on ICP fit, messaging effectiveness, and pipeline quality during team meetings

Qualification

Required

2+ years working in enterprise sales in a fast-growing nimble organization
Experience using a CRM
Experience using data and metrics to refine outbound strategy
Strong written and spoken communication skills
Experience selling technology into enterprise and/or government
Work authorization in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)
Ability to work from Birdstop's headquarters in Detroit, Michigan
