Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and mentor a team of high-performing engineers, fostering innovation and excellence. Focus on career growth, performance management, and fostering a collaborative, supportive environment
Actively participate in the architectural design, driving decisions for platform scalability, reliability, and maintainability, with a strong focus on microservices. Conduct code reviews, provide constructive technical guidance, and occasionally write code to lead by example and resolve complex technical issues
Design and implement robust, scalable system architectures to support company growth. Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and tools, ensuring platform security and compliance with industry standards (e.g., HITRUST, SOC 2)
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (product management, QA, operations, and business stakeholders) to define requirements and solutions. Communicate technical concepts clearly to all audiences. Participate in agile development processes and document architectural and system designs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
3+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager, with a total of 7+ years in professional software development, preferably in a SaaS environment
Deep, hands-on knowledge of microservices architecture and proven experience designing and implementing scalable and distributed systems that are in production
Strong proficiency in Python
Strong experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization/orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred
Experience in Golang is a plus
Experience with Agentic AI frameworks and building scalable systems for compliance is a strong plus
Experience developing data crawlers or high-volume data ingestion pipelines is a plus
Experience in the insurance or healthcare industry is a plus
