Responsibilities
Operate surface‑analysis instruments to support customer analysis requests
Prepare samples, set up and operate analysis equipment for data collection, reviewing measurement data and summarizing results
Assist in developing and refining methods and procedures to optimize and capabilities related to in‑lab techniques
Follow laboratory protocols and equipment‑specific standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED required
Knowledge of semiconductor processes and 1+ years of lab experience required
Preferred
2 college, technical school or equivalent preferred
5+ years preferred
5+ years of experience with analysis equipment hands-on operation preferred
Experience with operating analysis equipment including any of the following: X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy, Optical Profilometry, Atomic Force Microscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy, Energy-Dispersive Spectroscopy, Electron Backscatter Diffraction, Nanoindentation, FTIR, Raman
Experience with semiconductor process equipment
Knowledge of other imaging or compositional analytical techniques
Knowledge of semiconductor process flow
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Proficiency in technical writing
Excellent problem solving ability
Team work with good communication and interpersonal skills
