Responsibilities
Boxing and unboxing of IT and networking equipment
Plug-and-play installation of networking equipment under the supervision of senior network engineers
Ability to understand and follow technical instructions related to unboxing, installation, backup, and related tasks
Rack and stack of networking equipment under supervision (no prior configuration experience required)
Provide desktop and basic networking support with an approximate Networking to Desktop Support ratio of 2:1 per site
Update and manage tickets using ServiceNow (knowledge preferred)
Coordinate with end users to ensure smooth issue resolution and support delivery
Qualification
Required
Basic understanding of IT hardware and field support activities
Willingness to learn and follow detailed technical instructions
Good communication skills to effectively coordinate with end users and internal teams
Ability to travel frequently and work independently across multiple locations
Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Customer-service mindset with attention to detail
Frequent travel between Oneonta and Cooperstown (reimbursed at actuals)
Frequent travel to other clinics (up to 3 hours one-way)
Travel is a core part of the role; a personal vehicle and a valid driver's license are mandatory
