SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking a Design Coordinator GRIDS to provide pivotal support in nurturing and expanding relationships with business customers through precise project quotes and product recommendations. Responsibilities

Process, review and progress irrigation designs performed by design sub-contractors
Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing clients by delivering exceptional customer service and consistently providing accurate, timely quotes that align with project specifications and customer expectations
Conduct thorough research and analysis to determine the most appropriate products for various project applications, ensuring the delivery of optimal solutions that enhance customer satisfaction and project success
Utilize advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word to efficiently organize and manage project details, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with team members and clients
Demonstrate expertise in estimating and quote preparation by applying strong analytical skills to assess project requirements, optimize material planning, and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers
Exhibit exceptional organizational and time-management capabilities to prioritize tasks effectively and meet stringent deadlines, ensuring project milestones and client commitments are achieved without compromise
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of safety, reliability, and teamwork, contributing to shared objectives and the overall success of the organization

Required

High School diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in estimating or as a quote specialist is highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to provide accurate and timely project quotes
Proficiency in Microsoft software programs, including MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word
Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
Aptitude for planning, negotiating, and purchasing materials effectively
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, geared towards building strong client relationships
Dependability with a focused commitment to safety and teamwork
Willingness to embrace and contribute to a team culture focused on productivity and enjoyment
Availability to perform related duties as required
Successful completion of a criminal and driving background check, along with a pre-employment drug test

Preferred

A minimum of three years of experience in a landscape supply or construction industry-related estimating role, with proven expertise in developing cost-effective and accurate project quotes
An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field or related experience will be highly regarded
Demonstrated proficiency in advanced Microsoft Office Suite applications, including the use of pivot tables in Excel for comprehensive data analysis and project estimation
Extensive familiarity with landscape supply products, materials, and their applications within various project scopes to effectively advise clients and optimize project outcomes
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring clarity and precision in project specifications and expectations
Proven capability to diagnose potential project complications and develop strategic solutions to maintain timeline and budgetary goals
Experience in building and nurturing lasting client relationships, with the ability to identify and leverage opportunities for business growth and client satisfaction
Experience with industry-specific software tools such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, or specialized estimating software to enhance project visualization and precision in quoting
Strong analytical and numerical abilities to evaluate complex data and provide insightful recommendations for project improvement and cost control
Relevant certifications from recognized professional bodies, such as the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) or the Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential, are advantageous and respected
Demonstrated leadership experience in a team setting, with capabilities to mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment
