Responsibilities
You will build and maintain data infrastructure, Looker dashboards, ETL pipelines, automations that solve real problems across Sales, Finance, Data Science, Product, and Operations
You will create automations that multiply operations efficiency
You will help identify opportunities and build the solutions
And you’ll partner with non-technical teams to translate their problems into data solutions and show & build what’s possible
Qualification
Required
Senior-level experience building and owning production data pipelines and analytics/BI systems
Strong BI fundamentals: data modeling/semantic layer design, metric definitions, and stakeholder-facing dashboards (Looker experience strongly preferred)
Advanced SQL and Python (or equivalent scripting language) for production-grade data work
Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders and drive alignment on definitions, tradeoffs, and outcomes
High ownership: you proactively identify problems, propose solutions, and ship without waiting for permission
Austin-based, hybrid required: must be located in commutable distance to Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area, United States; one day per week in office. We're building new processes together and being in the same room matters!
Preferred
Looker / LookML experience, including owning or maintaining a production Looker instance
Experience with Looker API integrations and programmatic reporting/automation
AWS experience (Athena, Glue, Lambda, S3) or equivalent cloud data tooling in another cloud
Strong AI-agent workflow: you can effectively prompt, manage context, build with security in mind, and verify AI output against a spec (demonstrated in our practical exam)
Jenkins, AWS Serverless, Terraform
Adtech / Martech experience
