Responsibilities

Create exceptional, personalized shopping experiences for customers
Prioritize customer satisfaction by engaging with shoppers across all touchpoints
Drive cross-category sales to support overall business goals
Make tailored product recommendations and leverage digital tools to enhance the customer journey
Work across different departments daily, transitioning between multiple areas
Build client relationships through outreach tools like My Client and social media
Identify opportunities, resolve challenges, and elevate the overall customer experience
Support operational excellence through floor readiness, event execution, merchandise setup, and opening/closing procedures
Maintain a clean, organized, and prepared sales floor
Review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and top-selling items, and stay up to date on current trends and promotions
Offer a warm welcome, make eye contact, and create friendly, personal conversations to build customer relationships
Maintain a shoppable space by recovering the floor and fitting rooms, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves
Share loyalty program benefits and ensure customers have all they need before thanking them

Required

Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
Must be able to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
Must be able to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
Be comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues
Responsible for acquiring new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
Meeting daily sales goal challenges
Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information
Resourceful and eager to start a new venture and can adapt to changing priorities; you can work on your own but are great with team dynamics
You can handle electronic devices with no problem
Essential Physical Requirements: This position requires talking, lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands
Standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 25lbs., stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders, reaching, including above eye level
Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions

Preferred

At least 2 years of selling or customer experience preferred
