Responsibilities

Assisting with research and mapping of industry, academic, and government partners across key technology sectors
Supporting the development of briefing materials, slide decks, and written summaries for internal and external stakeholders
Helping track and organize partnership activities, events, and ongoing initiatives
Conducting background research on emerging technologies, companies, and academic programs in aerospace, defense, quantum, and advanced energy
Assisting with planning and coordination for meetings, workshops, or convenings with partners across the state
Contributing to drafting short write-ups, summaries, or success stories highlighting innovation and collaboration efforts
Providing general project and administrative support as needed to help advance statewide technology and economic development initiatives

Required

Currently attending and enrolled full time in the spring term immediately preceding the internship (or scheduled to graduate in the spring) in an accredited related undergraduate program
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
Ability to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer
U.S. citizens, legal permanent residents, asylees or refugees in the U.S

Preferred

Undergraduate or graduate student in economics, public policy, engineering, business, science, or a related field
Interest in technology commercialization, innovation ecosystems, or economic development
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable conducting research and synthesizing information into clear summaries
Curious, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team
