This role involves operating various equipment for turf and landscape maintenance in parks, assisting with field work, and providing customer service to the public.

Responsibilities
Operate a variety of equipment such as mowers, trucks, trailers, hedge/string trimmers, backpack blowers, pole saw, pruners, and hand tools
Perform a variety of tasks in the care and maintenance of parks and facilities, including garbage collection
Assist Nature & Trails in field work pertaining to the restoration of natural areas, including trail and natural area maintenance
Provide customer service and information to the public about THPRD
Qualification
Required
Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Preferred
At least one (1) year operating tractors, commercial mowers, turf maintenance equipment, front loaders, excavators, trucks and trailers, agricultural equipment, or other related landscape maintenance machinery
Previous experience operating tractors and larger field mowing equipment is preferred

Effective February 15, 2026 the accrual rate for PTO will increase to one (1) hour earned for every 23 hours worked and will include seasonal employees!
