ENGINEER, WATER RESOURCES
Caltrans District 3 is responsible for managing California's water resources. The Engineer, Water Resources will contribute to engineering work related to water supply and demand analysis, water management, hydraulics, and hydrology, while providing technical assistance to local water agencies.

Responsibilities
Contribute to engineering work related to water supply and demand analysis, water management, hydraulics, and hydrology
Provide technical assistance to local water agencies
Support regional coordination of water management activities in support of the California Water Plan, the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act, drought and flood response, DWR’s tribal policy office, and other programs as needed
Qualification
Required
Must possess a valid California Driver's License
Competency with Microsoft products
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Maintaining regular, consistent and predictable attendance
Preferred
Experience with coding (such as python or R)
Experience with ArcGIS
