ELECTRIC GENERATION SYSTEM SPECIALIST I
The California Energy Commission is the state's primary energy policy and planning agency, leading the state towards a 100% clean energy future. They are seeking an Electric Generation System Specialist I to perform complex technical and analytical work related to grid resilience and renewable energy, while representing the division in various agencies and collaborating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Independently performs the varied, complex, technical, and analytical work at the full journeyperson level, on the topics of grid resilience and reliability, demand flexibility, renewable energy, and distributed energy resources
May act as team lead and lead coordinator of varies entities for larger projects
Represents the division and the California Energy Commission (CEC) before various state, federal, and local energy agencies and regional, national, professional, and governmental bodies which significantly influence the state’s energy policies with respect to new and existing programs
Serves as a knowledgeable resource on policy, technology, market, and strategic issues as directed
Plays a primary role in coordination and collaboration with other state, federal, and local agencies, as well as other interested stakeholders and the public
