Responsibilities

Preparation of AutoCAD drawings, reports and technical specifications
Hydrology and Hydraulic Analysis
Assisting with engineering design for a wide variety of public and private projects in the industrial, healthcare, education, commercial and government market sectors
Assist with performing onsite construction administration and construction observation services including reporting and monitoring contractor's compliance with contract documents
Working with other Engineers on multi-discipline teams

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Biosystems Engineering
A recent graduate or early career Engineer Intern with 0 to 3 years
Successful completion of the Fundamentals Of Engineering (FE) exam and designation as an Engineer Intern (EI) with interest in obtaining a Professional Engineer (PE) license
Microsoft Office
Effectively assist on multiple projects and multiple deadlines including planning, organizing, and prioritizing work
Work occasional overtime hours
Valid driver's license and access to vehicle
Climb ladders and work on elevated platforms and open grating
Wear personal safety equipment required for specific clients and sites
Pass drug and background screenings required for work at most client sites

Preferred

Practical experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred, but not required
Leverage previous internship skills or summer experiences in general civil engineering or construction
Experience in construction, documentation, and design development is advantageous
Exceptional communication and organizational abilities
A keen interest in learning to solve technical problems by enhancing one's skillset
An ability to work well within a team and build collaborative relationships with peers
A willingness to learn system administration tasks for various design software platforms
