Responsibilities
Collaborate with a high-performing DevOps team to build and operate Kubernetes environments across secure platforms
Design and maintain Kubernetes network policies for secure, efficient in-cluster communications
Perform system patching, maintain System Security Plans, and keep documentation audit-ready
Support ongoing sustainment aligned to STE and STN security compliance frameworks
Use Confluence and Jira for documentation, issue tracking, and team coordination
Qualification
Required
Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required)
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Twenty or more years of Systems Engineering experience supporting programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline
Five additional years of Systems Engineering experience may substitute for the degree, for a total of twelve years required
Demonstrated experience planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts
Hands-on experience using the Linux CLI in operational environments
Expertise building and sustaining Kubernetes infrastructure, including internal networking
Experience with patching, SSP ownership, and compliance-driven engineering
Working knowledge of STE and STN security compliance standards
Strong documentation discipline using Jira and Confluence
Strong collaboration skills with engineers and mission stakeholders
Ability to adjust quickly as mission and security needs change
Preferred
Infrastructure as code experience using Terraform, Salt, or Ansible
Experience with Rancher, Helm, and advanced Kubernetes features
Experience with observability tooling such as Elasticsearch, Kibana, Grafana
Security plus or equivalent certification
