Responsibilities

Architecting radar system hardware and software designs
Leading analytical and experimental trade studies
Executing system integration and testing
Serving as a subject matter expert in radar systems engineering
Guiding design verification efforts across labs, chambers, ground, and flight tests
Developing simulations and analysis tools to predict system performance in various environments
Troubleshooting engineering issues
Performing root cause analysis
Developing technical performance metrics to track project progress
Mentoring and motivating systems engineers and engineering teams to achieve high performance
Collaborating with program managers to conduct risk assessments
Formulating mitigation strategies
Developing execution plans for complex projects
Acting as the primary technical interface to customers
Presenting findings, updates, and technical results during internal and external meetings
Participating in proposal development, including technical and cost aspects
Supporting technical development activities, including design verification testing, system performance characterization, and supporting engineering troubleshooting efforts as needed

Required

Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 12 years of related experience
Graduate Degree with at least 10 years of experience
Minimum of 16 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Active secret security clearance
Strong technical background
Leadership skills
Ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
Proven track record in proposal activities and customer engagement

Preferred

Hands-on experience with complex radar and weapon system integration
Lifecycle development experience
System performance characterization experience
Knowledge of aerospace systems
Hardware/software design knowledge
Payload integration knowledge
Proficiency in MATLAB
Proficiency in LabView
Proficiency in Python
Proficiency in C/C++/C#
Strong leadership and communication skills
