System Analyst

The Systems Analyst I role is responsible for configuring and supporting healthcare applications, collaborating with end-users to troubleshoot issues, and facilitating system enhancements to improve healthcare information systems.
Information Technology & Services

Responsibilities

Configure and provide technical support for assigned healthcare applications, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction
Collaborate with clinical and business users to understand workflow requirements and translate them into effective system solutions
Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to application functionality, performance, and integration issues
Participate in the analysis, design, testing, and documentation of new system features and upgrades
Assist in the planning and execution of system upgrades, maintenance, and patching activities
Provide end-user training and support, fostering user adoption and effective utilization of applications
Support the development and maintenance of system documentation, including procedures, workflows, and troubleshooting guides
Engage in on-call support duties, providing after-hours assistance during outages, emergencies, or critical project phases
Maintain compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements

Required

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
At least four years of experience in an IT discipline or healthcare operations, including clinical departments, medical records, patient access, or revenue cycle management
Experience supporting healthcare applications, troubleshooting technical issues, and working in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing priorities

Preferred

Advanced degree in Information Systems or Business
Prior training or certification in healthcare information systems, particularly Epic or other supported modules
Certification or proficiency in specific modules should be achieved within six months of employment
