They are seeking a Design Engineering Intern to join their Material Handling, Structures, and Specialty Engineering team, where the intern will utilize CAD tools to design components and support various engineering processes.

Responsibilities
Utilize 3D and 2D CAD tools to design new and update existing components
Execute engineering release processes to publish and revise drawings and bills of material
Communicate with Engineering Team Lead, Engineering Manager, and Product Manager to understand and verify product requirements and cost targets
Engage with manufacturing team to gather inputs and integrate Design For Manufacturing (DFM) principles into product designs
Mitigate production issues through engineering and product managers
Support the Tech Services team with troubleshooting field issues
Support current product maintenance and updates per stakeholder requests
Qualification
Required
Enrollment in a degree program in design engineering, agricultural engineering, or related field
Must be registered as a full-time student
Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
Proficiency in 3D CAD tools such as Solidworks, Inventor, or Creo
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Preferably have completed one or more internships and/or have working experience (e.g. part time job)
