Responsibilities
Reviewing and assigning bed placements for patients requiring admission to units within an acute care ministry
Performing chart review and/or calls to clarify bed criteria to assure appropriate bed placement
Collaborating with nursing, physicians, EVS, transportation, and others to define, reduce and eliminate barriers within the system which may impede patient flow
Qualification
Required
Associate's Degree or equivalent educ/experience
1 year of Healthcare experience
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare field
Bed placement experience
Registrar experience
