Responsibilities

Participate in both buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements, delivering comprehensive financial and commercial due diligence services
Assist in preparing detailed transaction reports tailored to specific client needs, including analysis of normalized earnings, valuation assumptions, and financial projections
Collaborate with senior team members to analyze target company data, identifying operational trends, quality of earnings, working capital considerations, and potential liabilities
Engage with clients and target company management to gather relevant financial information and provide insights that support valuation and negotiation strategies
Create and design customized reports highlighting key issues such as debt capacity, business combinations, carve-outs, restructuring, and IPO readiness
Support the development of financial models and valuation analyses to assist clients in making informed investment decisions
Maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail in all client interactions and deliverables

Required

A minimum of three years of relevant experience in accounting, advisory, financial audit, or transaction services, preferably with a Top Ten public accounting firm
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited institution; CPA certification or eligibility is preferred
Strong knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), SEC financial reporting, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), mergers and acquisitions, or transaction services
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with a keen eye for detail and data analysis
Willingness and ability to travel as needed to client sites and project locations
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future; KPMG does not sponsor visas for this position
