Responsibilities
Providing general project management support for the EHRM-IO Sustainment Team
Managing the activities of other team members as needed
Developing project plans, timelines and resource plans for sustainment activities/efforts as assigned
Evaluating risk, cost, schedule and performance related to sustainment activities/efforts
Coordinating and leading various teams and workgroups to accomplish sustainment activities/efforts; engaging with stakeholders across the VA Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) program
Coordinating, developing and/or contributing to a wide range of sustainment-related products and deliverables
Presenting sustainment-related products and deliverables across various settings and to various audiences
Maintaining sustainment materials, meeting minutes and other briefing documents
Reviewing deliverables and providing recommendations
Qualification
Required
10+ years of professional work experience
Experience managing Information Technology related projects
Be well versed in life cycle and project management methodologies
Experience in tracking costs, schedule and performance progress
Be able to identify and mitigate risks
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific /technical discipline or 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
Preferred
Experience with VA
Experience supporting the Federal Government
Experience implementing Electronic Health Records
