Responsibilities
Build and maintain Apache Airflow DAGs for data pipelines and automation
Partner with data engineers and platform teams to design scalable workflow patterns
Harden workflows for reliability, retries, and clear operational visibility
Automate repetitive tasks with Bash and Python
Support containerized execution and deployments across Linux environments
Troubleshoot workflow failures, performance issues, and upstream dependencies
Document pipelines and operating procedures so teams move faster
Qualification
Required
Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Master's degree in Computer Science (or related) plus 3 years of SWE experience
Or bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related) plus 5 years of SWE experience
Or 7 years of SWE experience in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
Linux CLI experience and strong comfort with Linux tools
Bash scripting to automate manual processes
Recent Python and Java development experience
Apache Airflow experience, DAG design, scheduling, operators, sensors
Distributed processing experience with Apache Spark
Container experience with Docker, Podman, or containerd
Git source control experience
Preferred
Atlassian tools experience, Jira and Confluence
AWS cloud services and infrastructure familiarity
