Responsibilities
Pipeline Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines to process and manage large-scale datasets
ETL Mastery: Build and optimize ETL pipelines for ingesting and transforming data from diverse sources
Orchestration & Frameworks: Manage complex workflows using Apache Airflow and leverage Trino (Presto) and Spark for distributed processing
Infrastructure Optimization: Utilize modern tools like Apache Iceberg and AWS services to ensure a reliable and scalable data environment
Governance & Quality: Implement data governance frameworks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance across the organization
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, product, and business units to make data actionable for informed decision-making
Qualification
Required
6+ Years of Experience: Proven track record in data management, infrastructure, and optimizing pipelines at scale
Technical Deep Dive: 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS (S3, Lambda, Redshift, Glue, Athena), Apache Airflow, and Apache Iceberg
Distributed Systems: 5+ years of experience with Trino/Presto and Apache Spark for data processing
Coding & Modeling: High proficiency in Python for data processing and a solid understanding of warehousing concepts/schema design
Leadership: Ability to mentor teams and influence stakeholders to drive data initiatives
Authorization: Must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis (No sponsorship available)
