Full Stack Developer (Temp)
The University of Michigan is seeking a temporary full-stack software developer to create a web-based platform and secure data server for using generative artificial intelligence tools in medical trainee evaluations. This role involves developing a platform for UMMS faculty to conduct evaluations and securely store data as part of a research project on bias mitigation in medical evaluations.

Responsibilities
Development and creation of a web platform that securely integrates generative AI tools to enable use by UMMS faculty in real time
Establish a secure server and database for the secure storage of clinical evaluation data
Develop industry-standard performance tests to ensure long-term functionality of the web platform
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Expertise with a web development programming language (e.g. JavaScript, HTML)
Experience with database management, server management, and networking
Experience with software development language Python to integrate generative AI APIs specific to the University of Michigan (e.g. UM-GPT API)
Preferred
Experience with integrating generative AI tools
Strong inter-personal skills and experience working with multidisciplinary teams
Interest in medical and education-based projects
