Program Compliance Analyst

Responsibilities

Collect, verify, and analyze county Medi-Cal call center data to determine the completeness of data submitted
Provide the county with training and technical assistance to reduce wait time or abandonment rate trends
Review Medi-Cal cases to determine the accuracy of the administration of the Medi-Cal program

Required

Must have permanent civil service status, be reachable on an employment list, have transfer eligibility, or have reinstatement eligibility
Must acquire a working knowledge of the Medi-Cal program
Must have the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
Must be able to work collaboratively with a variety of staff, located in office and remotely
Must analyze complex regulations and interpret and apply the regulations appropriately
Must explain regulations clearly to external stakeholders
Must have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Must have the ability to navigate various Medi-Cal eligibility systems
Must have the ability to make oral presentations
Travel is expected to occur 5% or less of the time

Preferred

In-depth knowledge of the Medicaid program
County Medi-Cal eligibility worker experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detailed organization and planning skills
Ability to research, critically analyze, and interpret information
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Computer (word processing, spreadsheet, and email) skills
