Responsibilities
Interviews defendants to obtain personal, employment and prior criminal histories
Verifies addresses supplied by defendants via telephone contact with reliable sources
Retrieves and evaluates court history data, such as individual's court appearance records, pending charges and prior criminal record from a computerized database
Additional assignments may require file maintenance and telephone verifications
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, OR
An associate degree, or 60 college credits, and at least 1 year of full-time clerical, administrative, customer service, or related experience involving public contact, record keeping, or data entry, OR
A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and at least 2 years of related experience as described above
Appropriate experience in the use of personal computers and Windows software applications
Ability to work varied shift assignments, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Successful completion of a criminal background investigation
Ability To Perform The Essential Functions Of The Position
Must work in person (not remote)
