Responsibilities
Lead and support month-end close and financial reporting for multiple clients
Review financial statements for accuracy and consistency
Identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
Implement and improve controls, processes, and documentation
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning as needed
Resolve accounting issues, reconciliations, and discrepancies
Coordinate audit and tax support
Guide staff accountants/bookkeepers on best practices and quality standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field
10+ years of accounting experience (Controller-level strongly preferred)
Strong GAAP knowledge and operational accounting experience
Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail
Client-facing confidence, strong communication, and accountability
Preferred
CPA preferred
QuickBooks Online experience strongly preferred (QB Certified a plus)
