Responsibilities
Inspect raw materials, components, and finished products according to quality standards, drawings, and work instructions
Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
Identify, document, and report defects or non-conforming materials
Record inspection results accurately in quality logs, inspection reports, or electronic systems
Support in-process inspections to ensure quality compliance during production
Follow established quality procedures, safety guidelines, and company policies
Communicate quality issues clearly to production supervisors and quality team members
Assist with sorting, rework, and containment activities when quality issues arise
Maintain a clean and organized inspection area
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Basic knowledge of quality control concepts and inspection procedures
Ability to read and understand work instructions, specifications, and basic drawings
Basic math and measurement skills
Attention to detail and strong observational skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Strong attention to detail
Basic computer skills (data entry, email, quality systems)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills
Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and weekends as required
Preferred
Previous manufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred but not required
