Responsibilities
Assist in plan preparation, design and quantity calculations, and other related tasks for transportation related structural projects
Assist with bridge inspections
The selected candidate will collaborate with other engineers and technicians under the supervision of a Structural Project Engineer
Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from accredited school
5-8 years of experience
IL or IN Professional Engineer license (PE); SE a plus
Good technical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well in a team environment on multi-disciplinary projects
MicroStation proficiency
Working knowledge of structural analysis software
Experience preparing plans for Illinois DOT and/or Illinois Tollway projects
Bridge inspection experience, including 80-hour NHI course
Preferred
Masters preferred
GeoPak experience a plus
