Account Development Manager
American Substance Abuse Professionals is seeking an Account Development Manager (ADM) to drive B2B sales growth for their services. The ADM will be responsible for converting leads, expanding existing accounts, and managing key accounts, while ensuring exceptional client experiences and collaborating with Sales and Operations teams to maximize profitability.

Responsibilities
Drive B2B sales by converting pipeline leads into revenue opportunities
Identify and capitalize on upsell and cross-sell opportunities with existing clients
Strategically expand ASAP services into new accounts and markets
Develop and execute proposals, RFPs, and RFIs
Support market and competitive research to inform growth strategies
Build and maintain strong relationships with top key house accounts and new clients
Serve as an industry expert, providing solutions tailored to client needs
Manage client contracts/renewals, reports, and presentations to ensure compliance and engagement
Troubleshoot escalated issues, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term retention
Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to resolve client concerns efficiently
Track and report sales metrics, pipeline status, and account performance
Identify trends, potential risks, and new product/service opportunities
Provide actionable insights to support organizational growth and strategic initiatives
Support B2C sales team as needed
Represent ASAP at trade shows, conferences, and networking events (national travel 10–20%)
Model ASAP values and contribute positively to team culture
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration or a human service-related field preferred
At least 2-4 years B2B sales required
At least 3-4 years of account management experience required
Excellent computer-based, telephonic, verbal, and written communication skills
Prospecting ability for new business
Exceptional and demonstrable customer service business style and orientation
Strong goal setting skills and goal achievement history
Ability to strategize, persuade and negotiate
Ability to multi-task clients and successfully prioritize workload
Cognitive thinker with excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Preferred
Employee Assistance Program (EAP), drug testing, risk management, occupational healthcare, or mental health employment experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of drug and alcohol risk management industry preferred
