Responsibilities
Collaborating with both internal development teams and external partners to develop, test, and troubleshoot simulation software within a large-scale federated environment
Working closely with customers to define requirements and translate them into functional simulation models, supporting research and development efforts for military experimentation
Designing software architectures, creating test plans, and ensuring the robustness and accuracy of simulation capabilities
Modeling various military platforms, sensors, emitters, communication systems, and weapons, contributing to the development of advanced simulation scenarios
Supporting large experimentation campaigns and integrating new capabilities into existing simulation environments
Qualification
Required
U.S. Top-Secret Security Clearance, with active clearance status within the past 24 months
at least two years of experience in Linux development environments
proficiency in C++
familiarity with version control systems such as Git or Subversion
experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban
strong troubleshooting skills
ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
work effectively within a team environment
Preferred
five or more years of relevant experience
prior work with operator-in-the-loop real-time simulation
familiarity with Distributive Interactive Simulation (DIS) standards
proficiency in Python
