Quality Engineer

They are seeking a motivated Quality Engineering Intern to support chemical analysis, experimentation, and process optimization initiatives within their Quality Lab team.
Information Technology & Services

Responsibilities

Assist in conducting chemical tests and analyses on materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
Support the development, refinement, and documentation of quality control procedures and protocols
Collaborate with the Quality Engineering team to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies
Perform experiments and trials to evaluate new materials, formulations, or process modifications
Maintain laboratory equipment, ensure calibration, and document test results accurately and thoroughly
Contribute fresh ideas and a scientific perspective to ongoing quality initiatives and projects
Participate in cross-functional meetings to understand broader manufacturing processes and quality goals
Assist in troubleshooting quality issues and implementing corrective actions as needed

Required

Currently enrolled in a degree program in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
Strong foundational knowledge of chemical principles and laboratory techniques

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
Curiosity and creativity in applying chemistry concepts to solve practical problems
