Responsibilities
Perform autoantibody tests on serum and spinal fluid
Aid the diagnosis of autoimmune disorders of brain, nerve and muscle
Utilize multiple testing methodologies including fluorescence microscopy, radioimmunoassays, flow cytometry, western blot, ELISA, and chemiluminescence assays
Assist in implementing an automation line to improve testing efficiency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a human biological science is required
These degrees include, but are not limited to: Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Animal Science, Marine Biology, Neuroscience, etc
Will accept Master's, not PhD or engineering
Will accept OPT
