Senior Manager, Data Science

The Senior Manager of Marketing Science will drive initiatives to enhance marketing data and analytics capabilities, leveraging advanced analytics techniques to generate insights that inform marketing strategies and optimize campaign performance.

Responsibilities
Lead marketing science initiatives to develop and implement advanced analytics that support strategic marketing objectives
Provide thought leadership on marketing measurement techniques, including controlled experiments, natural experiments, and multivariate models
Collaborate with media agencies to optimize media mix modeling (MMM) and ensure maximum effectiveness of marketing investments
Design, develop, and maintain marketing attribution solutions such as multi-touch attribution (MTA), either in-house or through external partners
Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing analytics and monitor performance to inform decision-making
Partner with data scientists, IT, and external consultants to develop analytical models and dashboards that deliver actionable insights
Perform statistical analyses and tests to quantify the business impact of marketing initiatives and opportunities
Leverage AI/ML techniques to enhance marketing analytics capabilities and predictive modeling
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of marketing performance reports and insights, translating data into clear, contextualized recommendations
Develop data visualizations, dashboards, and automated reports to support real-time performance monitoring and agile decision-making
Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with marketing, digital, data, and technology teams for seamless collaboration
Qualification
Required
Candidates should hold a bachelor's or master's degree in social sciences, business, marketing, advertising, or a related field
A minimum of seven years of experience in advanced analytics and statistical modeling within business performance analysis, forecasting, media effectiveness, and consumer behavior is required
Expertise in data analysis using SQL, Python, and R, along with proficiency in statistical and AI/ML techniques such as regression analysis, classification, clustering, and experimental design, is essential
Strong experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau, and advanced MS Excel skills, including macros and VBA, are preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to translate complex data into actionable insights for diverse audiences, including senior leadership
The role demands high self-reliance, problem-solving abilities, and experience managing or partnering with external vendors and consultants
