Responsibilities
Lead the deployment and configuration of essential software development tools, including build servers, version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks
Manage and maintain cloud-based infrastructures on AWS or Azure, as well as on-premises environments
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts using tools like Ansible, simplifying infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes
Establish and maintain development and production environments, ensuring their scalability and security
Create and implement best practices for provisioning, configuration management, platform scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting
Provide critical information to delivery teams to meet service level indicators (SLIs), service level objectives (SLOs), and service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring high system availability and performance
Manage and upgrade software development tools such as Jira, GitLab, Artifactory, Confluence, and SonarQube, along with integrating these tools into the development ecosystem
Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to software delivery and team performance to inform continuous improvement initiatives
Lead demonstrations, monitor project progress, and communicate status updates to stakeholders and management
Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous learning
Drive process improvement solutions to enhance operational efficiency and software quality
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 8 years of experience in DevSecOps
At least 5 years of hands-on experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab
Strong background in Agile software development methodologies
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, including interim or final Secret Clearance
Preferred
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry from an accredited institution
Experience with cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
Experience with Linux operating systems
