Responsibilities
Assists customers with inquiries, purchases, or other customer facing information
Participates in weekend and evening coverage rotation for various staffing needs
Stocks product and maintain displays according to merchandising standards
Provides inventory management skillset to include monitoring and transferring products between all shops
Maintains confidentiality of university and shop records
Works with Merchandise Manager to complete store To Do List and Team Weekly tasks; this will require guiding the work of temporary staff and volunteers where necessary
Answers questions and resolves problems of patrons or staff with a high degree of urgency
Answer telephones, processes telephone orders and makes deliveries of merchandise to hospital rooms as required
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
0-2 years of experience
Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and 18 years or older
Ability to safely lift 35 pounds and to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling product
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Preferred
Previous retail experience
Bachelor's degree
Understanding of inventory management systems and processes
Process-driven and able to follow procedures in an organized and efficient way
