Responsibilities

Evaluate, process, and underwrite commercial loan applications by analyzing financial statements, credit data, and industry trends

Conducting risk assessments

Reviewing and interpreting financial documents

Collaborating with internal teams

Ensuring compliance with credit union policies and regulatory requirements

Presenting well-documented loan recommendations to the loan committee

Required

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess financial data and evaluate loan applications

Experience in underwriting and thorough knowledge of credit analysis processes

Familiarity with finance, loans, and associated procedures, with the ability to manage loan portfolios

Knowledge of insurance policies related to commercial loans

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively present loan recommendations

Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines

Proficiency in financial analysis tools and loan underwriting systems

Preferred

Prior experience in a financial institution or credit union
