Responsibilities

Maintain and enhance internal financial reporting database applications
Support implementation and enhancements for new and existing life insurance products
Automate reporting requirements and improve operational efficiency
Ensure successful monthly data warehouse loads and data integrity
Develop control processes and produce automated and ad hoc reporting
Translate complex business and actuarial requirements into technical specifications
Provide L2 and L3 production support for Oracle-based financial database applications
Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across business, finance, and technology

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree with 2+ years in database application development or database administration
Strong Oracle experience (11g/19c), including SQL, PL/SQL, SQL•Plus, and SQL•Loader
Linux experience, including shell scripting
Hands-on experience with TOAD
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, macros, data analysis)
Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on data validation and accuracy

Preferred

Familiarity with scheduling tools (ESP, Stonebranch UAC)
Exposure to MS Access and/or Python
Understanding of life insurance products or actuarial data environments
