Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable, high-performance applications and services
Own technical solutions from concept through deployment and ongoing support
Lead architecture discussions and evaluate technical trade-offs
Translate complex business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans
Perform code reviews and enforce engineering standards and best practices
Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers
Identify and resolve performance, reliability, and scalability issues
Build and maintain APIs, integrations, and distributed services
Improve CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and development workflows
Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders on roadmap planning
Support production systems, incident response, and root-cause analysis
Contribute to technical documentation and long-term platform strategy
Qualification
Required
6+ years of professional software development experience
Strong proficiency in at least one primary language (Java, C#, Python, Go, or TypeScript/JavaScript)
Experience designing distributed or microservices architectures
Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and service communication patterns
Strong database experience (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or NoSQL)
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization
Experience using Git in collaborative development environments
Ability to lead technical initiatives and influence engineering direction
Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Mentorship mindset and team development focus
Ownership mentality and proactive problem solving
Ability to prioritize in fast-paced environments
Preferred
Frontend framework experience (React, Angular, or Vue)
Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Automated testing frameworks and CI/CD tooling
Observability and monitoring tools
Event-driven architecture and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
Agile/Scrum development experience
