Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java/J2EE, Spring (Spring Boot/MVC), Microservices, and React JS
Create detailed design artifacts like program specifications, test plans
Independently develop and review code and contribute to the go-live plan
Collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create innovative high quality and defect-free solutions to meet clients’ business needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider three years of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education
At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology
Candidate must be located within commuting distance or willing to relocate to Boston, MA or willing to relocate to either of these locations. This position may require travel in the US

Experience in Core Java (17+) OOP, collections, streams, concurrency, exception handling
Experience in Java/J2EE & Spring, Spring Boot, acceptable/valued for legacy migrations
Microservices: REST API design, inter-service communication, resilience patterns, pagination, error handling
Front-end: React JS (functional components, hooks, basic state management, routing), HTML5/CSS3, JSPs
Database & PL/SQL: Strong SQL; exposure to any one RDBMS is mandatory (Oracle/PostgreSQL/MySQL/SQL Server)
Version Control: Git/GitHub—branching strategies, PR reviews, merge conflict resolution
Testing: JUnit/Mockito (or similar), basic API testing (Postman/RestAssured)
Experience in GitHub CoPilot
Preferred
Apply secure coding practices and compliance standards, especially relevant to banking and financial applications
Work closely with offshore team in global delivery model
Experience in banking or financial services, with understanding of Fraud detection and prevention area
Strong analytical, oral, and communication skills
Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
Self-learner with effective time management skills
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide effective solutions
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
