Responsibilities
Architecting radar systems’ hardware and software designs
Defining functional and physical requirements
Executing system-level trade studies
Leading efforts in system integration, verification, and validation, including lab, chamber, ground, and flight testing
Developing simulations and analysis tools to predict system performance in various environments
Supporting troubleshooting activities, root cause analysis, and technical performance tracking
Leading and mentoring systems engineers and engineering teams to achieve high performance
Collaborating with program managers to perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
Representing programs as the technical interface to customers
Communicating complex technical concepts clearly and effectively
Participating in proposal development, including technical and cost aspects
Supporting technical documentation, presentations, and internal reviews to ensure project alignment and technical excellence
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree with at least 12 years of relevant experience
Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years
Minimum of 16 years of experience without a degree
Active secret security clearance
Preferred
Hands-on experience with complex radar and weapon system integration
System performance characterization
Lifecycle development from conceptual design through production
Strong background in hardware/software system design
Interface definition and solution trade-offs
Experience with aerospace systems
Experience with autonomous weapons payloads
Experience with advanced radar sensor systems
Proficiency in MATLAB
Proficiency in LabView
Proficiency in Python
Proficiency in C/C++
Proficiency in C#
Experience in proposal capture activities
Customer engagement and needs assessment
Leadership capabilities in multidisciplinary teams
