Responsibilities
Managing computer media through automated processing systems to ensure accurate and timely disposition of deliveries
Overseeing the handling of shipments related to fleet support activities
Ensuring data integrity and maintaining proper documentation
Responding to data processing problems
Implementing corrective procedures
Referring complex issues to higher-level specialists when necessary
Supporting the organization and management of Combat Systems shipboard libraries
Understanding Navy library concepts and tools such as ACCESS, VIEWNET, and DOCMS
Training new team members
Assisting in the development of procedures
Maintaining a high level of operational readiness
Qualification
Required
At least one (1) year of experience managing, shipping, and/or receiving unclassified computer media and documentation
A high school diploma is required
Experience troubleshooting media errors and resolving data processing issues efficiently
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and with external contacts
Strong interpersonal skills, good judgment, and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform periodic physical activities such as twisting, bending, and squatting
Security clearance at the Secret level is required
US citizenship is mandatory to obtain and maintain this clearance
Preferred
A bachelor's degree is preferred
Understanding Navy library concepts and tools such as ACCESS, VIEWNET, and DOCMS
