Responsibilities

Assisting in the design and development of physical and logical network architectures that incorporate voice, video, and data capabilities across multiple security domains
Maintaining LAN and WAN networks that connect airborne and ground systems via terrestrial and Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS) circuits
Translating customer requirements into system-level specifications, performing traceability, and supporting trade studies to evaluate and select optimal solutions
Developing and executing network test procedures to validate system performance against requirements
Preparing technical presentations to communicate complex network information to non-technical stakeholders and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive, secure, and compliant network designs
Evaluating design diagrams, supporting system certifications, troubleshooting network hardware and software, and maintaining documentation throughout the development lifecycle

Required

U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance
Bachelor's Degree with at least four years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of two years of experience, or eight or more years of experience without a degree
Current Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification or equivalent experience
Intermediate knowledge of network design, including LAN/WAN architecture, security best practices aligned with NIST frameworks, IP addressing, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and VoIP telephony
Experience with routing protocols such as RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP
Experience in systems Certification and Accreditation processes

Preferred

Current CCNP certification
Experience with Kubernetes
Experience with SATCOM protocols
Experience with HAIPE devices
Experience with RedHat Linux
Experience working with government or military programs
Strong communication skills
Experience in developing test plans
