Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for critically ill patients
Monitor and interpret vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient responses to treatment
Administer medications, IV drips, and treatments in accordance with physician orders and ICU protocols
Utilize critical thinking to recognize changes in patient condition and intervene appropriately
Operate and manage ICU equipment, including monitors and life-support devices
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patient care plans
Educate patients and families regarding conditions, treatments, and recovery expectations
Maintain accurate and timely documentation per facility standards and regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska
Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience
Current BLS certification
Strong critical-thinking, assessment, and communication skills
