3+ years expK4Connect is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. The role involves building reliable infrastructure, improving deployment pipelines, and supporting development teams in shipping high-quality software using AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines in AWS
Manage and support Kubernetes clusters for containerized applications
Create and maintain CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions
Partner with engineering teams to improve build, test, and release processes
Support Node.js applications, including build automation and test execution with Jest
Monitor system performance, reliability, and security, and help troubleshoot production issues
Participate in code reviews, infrastructure discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or similar role
Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, EKS, IAM, networking, etc.)
Working knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized workloads
Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools
Familiarity with Node.js applications and automated testing (Jest)
Comfortable working in a startup environment—adaptable, proactive, and eager to improve systems
Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
Clear communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
Ability to Commute: Morrisville, NC 27560 (Required)
Work Location: In person Only
Preferred
Experience with Octopus Deploy
Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
Security best practices for cloud and container environments
Experience supporting development teams and improving developer experience
AWS: 3 years (Preferred)
Kubernetes: 3 years (Preferred)
