IT Support Technician
General Formulations is seeking an IT Support Technician to assist with technical support and troubleshooting. The role involves responding to user requests, diagnosing issues, and maintaining IT systems and equipment.

Responsibilities
Respond to end user support requests
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
Assist with configuration and troubleshooting of Hyper-V virtual machines
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and peripheral equipment
Assist with user Active Directory/Microsoft 365/Entra ID account management, including password resets and access permissions
Setup and configuration of Cisco desk phones and Webex app
Utilize ConnectWise RMM tools for monitoring and remote support
Maintain accurate documentation in IT Glue
Provide basic training and guidance to end-users on IT systems and best practices
Maintain inventory of PC’s, laptops, and printers
Support IT projects, including system upgrades and deployments
Qualification
Required
Respond to end user support requests

Preferred
Education: Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience: 1–2 years in a technical support or help desk role preferred
Skills: Strong knowledge of Windows 11, MacOS a plus
Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Experience with Microsoft 365/Office/Entra ID and Active Directory
Experience using Connectwise RMM tools
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently
Strong communication and customer service abilities
Preferred Certifications: CompTIA A+
Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
